As a Data Engineer, supporting the Data Enablement squad within our ANZ Business Lending team, your mission is to build dynamic data solutions to support all modalities of data for a range of use cases.

What will your day look like

Working in an agile framework with a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts to deliver solutions and manage deployment processes, including:

Building data pipelines and a data eco-system that provides interactive customer experiences, feeding data into other systems via multiple interface types.
Building optimized data solutions, workflow schedules and ingestion patterns with considerations for security and data governance
Supporting the architecture standards for data applications and delivery infrastructure across the portfolio in line with the ANZ Delivery Framework.
Working with squads within the tribe to rapidly, reliably and efficiently develop, test and release high quality solutions to deliver value for customers.
Foster collaboration across teams and divisions to support release processes and help manage inter-Tech Area dependencies.

Proven success building large data solutions.
An understanding of deployment and release management strategies and experience with managing CI/CD pipelines, Gitops and Devops processes.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
Strong technical ability including Python, Pyspark and Shell scripting.
Proactive, shows initiative and keen to try new things i.e. new technologies.
